Our office accepts payments by cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards. We also accept Flex Spending Accounts and CareCredit.

Affordable Financing Options

Don’t let finances stand in your way of receiving the quality care you deserve. These flexible payment options allow you to pay for your treatment over a period of time so you can focus on what matters most – keeping your eyes healthy!

We accept CareCredit financing, which makes treatment more affordable. You can use CareCredit for procedures such as cataract surgery, LASIK, upgraded multifocal lenses, or any other procedure not covered by insurance.


Insurance Policies

Our office staff will be glad to assist you in verifying your insurance coverage. Please bring your current insurance card and your ID with you to each office visit. If you change health insurance companies or join another employer’s plan, please be sure to inform our front desk staff. If a PCP referral is required by your insurance company for your specialist visit, please bring the completed referral with you to your appointment.

We work with many insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. If we are not contracted under your health insurance plan, you will be given a copy of services and charges in order for you to file them with your insurance claim form.

All co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance are collected at the time of service.

Why are patients responsible for their co-pays & other insurance payments?

  • Patients choose to have a contract with their health insurance company. This contract requires the patient to be responsible for certain parts of their health-care such as co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance.
  • Doctors also have a contract with participating health insurance companies. Doctors are required, by the insurance companies, to collect patient’s co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance at the time of service. It is not optional for doctors to collect co-pays at the time of service. It is a requirement.
  • If a patient is unable to pay their co-pay, deductible, and/or co-insurance at the time of their visit they will need to reschedule their appointment.
  • A patient should contact their health insurance company if they have an issue paying their co-pays, deductibles, and/or co-insurance at the time of service, as specified per the rules in their insurance contract.
  • This is burdensome but, again, doctors are not the ones controlling this. This is a health insurance company requirement.
